Activities, Awards & Honors
I am a sixth generation Ramonian,
and value my families history. We are a family who believes
in giving back to our community, so I volunteer every chance
I get. I volunteer for and help raise money for, The Ramona
Ag. Boosters, The Ramona High Grad-Nite Assoc. and The
Ramona Senior Center. I also helped to raise over 10,000.00
for my High School Volleyball program during my 4 yrs. of
participation.

JoLinda
Nickname: JoJo
Why I play volleyball: It's a Great competitive sport. It's
lots of fun and I have met some really special people and
better yet, have made some amazing "Forever" friends.
My three best volleyball attributes: Determination,
Endurance and a Never give up attitude.
When I leave college, I want to: Work in the Sports medicine
field where I can help injured athletes.
My sports hero's are: My Cousin, Maarty Leunen, Oregon Ducks
Basketball. And anyone who has has had to overcome adversity
to succeed at their sport.
I collect: Everything!! Anything anyone gives me, I treasure
forever!
In my off-time, I'm most likely to be found: Volunteering
along side my mom in our community for different
fundraiser's, working out with my trainer or shopping with
my friends.
Something people would be surprised to know about me: I
participated on Ramona High's Farm Power Tractor Team, and
was the only girl to outscore all the guys at our hometown
regional meet. I still drive tractor's today.
I'm most thankful for: My family, they are so supportive of
me and make me feel like I am the most special person in the
world.
Best book I have ever read: Grapes of Wrath
Favorite food: Ground beef flautas... yum
Least favorite food: Sushi
My favorite movie: The Notebook
My favorite TV show: House
My favorite music: Pop and Country
My parents were right when they told me: To NEVER GIVE UP!
